Biography
Karen Kazinyan was born in 1963 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts and Theatre in 1986. Since 1994, he has been a member of the International Federation of Artists under UNESCO (IFA), and since 1998, a member of the International Art Foundation. In 2003, he joined the Moscow Union of Artists. In 1997, Kazinyan co-founded the Moscow creative association of young artists NU R.
Kazinyan’s artistic language draws on techniques typical of decorative and applied arts. His works are rich in cultural allusions and symbolism, with references ranging from medieval European painting to ancient Eastern traditions. He consistently turns to timeless themes — the mysteries of human existence, the enigma of love, and the pursuit of beauty.
